Luís Figo admitted, in statements to the Gazzetta Dello Sport, that he will cheer for Inter in the Champions League semi-finals against Barcelona.
“It's hard to identify a favorite on a champions half-final. The two teams are doing an incredible time, each of them is on three fronts. But I support Inter and hope it goes well,” Figo admitted, who played in Catalans between 1995 and 2000 and Nerazzurri between 2005 and 2009.
The former Luso International praised Hansi Flick, Barça's heliethist: “He adapted quickly and in a natural way. He gave confidence to the beam and Lewandowski. When players feel confident, they play at their best level or beyond,” Luso who also compliments Lamine Yamal. “In addition to talent and quality, what surprises me is the calm and personality it shows at this age. Perhaps being so young do not think about the responsibility and what it represents, just want to have fun. Your teammates should follow your example and learn from how it deals with pressure.”
When to the favorite to win the race, Luís Figo points to PSG. “PSG. After having had some difficulties in the race at the beginning of the season, they are having very positive results, as well as being at a great time in physical terms. But it is always difficult to make predictions.”
