The Detroit Lions signed Miles Frazier, Ahmed Hassanein, Dan Jackson, and Dominic Lovett to their rookie contracts prior to the 2025 NFL schedule’s release.

After exhibiting his skills at the NFLPA Rookie Premiere over the weekend, the Lions have signed third-round pick Isaac TeSlaa to his rookie deal on Monday, as indicated by the rookie’s Instagram account.

On the second day of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Lions acquired TeSlaa by trading three third-round picks in order to advance. He is anticipated to play a significant role in the Lions’ offence. So far, the feedback from the Lions’ rookie mini-camp has been positively received.

The Lions are slightly ahead of schedule in terms of their performance thus far. Ennis Rakestraw was recruited as the second-round pick on May 31st of the previous year. May 19th is the date this year.

This may be owing to the fact that the Lions have cancelled mandatory mini-camp and intend to commence training camp early this year in anticipation of their participation in the Hall of Fame game. The Lions’ ability to secure rookie contracts for Tyleik Williams and Tate Ratledge prior to the early start will be determined in due course.
