On this season-ending media day for the Montreal Canadiens, several players are stepping up to the podium for press conferences.
Just moments ago, Christian Dvorak spoke to the media, and let’s just say, he may have dropped a major hint about his future with the team.
Dvorak, who will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, did not sound confident about returning to the Habs next season.
He obviously avoided giving a clear answer and didn’t want to delve into the topic too much, but it really feels like Dvorak has played his last game in a Canadiens uniform.
It Smells Like the End for Christian Dvorak with the Canadiens
This confirms rumors that have been circulating over the past few hours.

Sources have already said that Dvorak is “probably on his way out,” and following his press conference just moments ago, that now seems almost certain.
“Listening to Christian Dvorak, it’s easy to believe he won’t be back with the Canadiens.

He says he met with Kent Hughes this morning but refuses to speak about his future in Montreal.”

In any case, Dvorak can be proud of his season and how he performed toward the end of the year with the Canadiens.
He really did his part and helped the team qualify for the playoffs.
At 29 years old, Christian Dvorak recorded 33 points in 82 games this season, including 12 goals. He also added two goals in five playoff games against the Washington Capitals.
Regardless of the stats, he contributed a lot to the team-whether in the faceoff circle or in the defensive zone.
