According to journalist Marc Dumont, Canadiens management reportedly has no intention of offering Pezzetta a new contract, as he has seemingly fallen out of favor with the organization.
“With all due respect to Pezzetta, he’d be better off trying to find a contract with a new team, one that might give him more opportunities to play in the NHL, because it’s clear that the former Sudbury Wolves forward is no longer valued by Canadiens management.”

Pezzetta, who has always held a special place in the hearts of Habs fans thanks to his grit and energy, and who has long been a fan favorite, now seems to have played his last game in a Canadiens uniform.
