As part of the ACC’s new rotating schedule format, each team skips one conference opponent every year, and for UNC in 2025–26, that team is Boston College. The excluded matchup will rotate annually.
Additionally, after hosting all three of the ACC’s new additions last year, the Tar Heels will travel west this season to face California, Stanford, and SMU on the road—trips not made often. UNC last played at Stanford back in November 2017.
