The Los Angeles Rams have upgraded their offense this offseason, adding wide receiver Davante Adams to a team that was just plays way from making it to the NFC Championship Game. They may not be done adding stars, though. Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report says the Rams should trade for Kyle Pitts.
“Trading for Pitts would give the Rams a dynamic pass-catching tight end to complement wideouts Puka Nacua and Davante Adams,” Knox writes. “Long-term, he could serve as a target for both Matthew Stafford and whichever quarterback the Rams pick to carry the baton after him. It’s also worth noting that Rams quarterbacks coach Dave Ragone was Atlanta’s offensive coordinator during Pitts’ 2021 Pro Bowl campaign.”
Knox adds this could also help the Falcons get their 2026 first-round pick back, as they traded it to the Rams to move back into the first round and select James Pearce in the 2025 draft.
“Based on DraftTek’s trade value chart, this deal would most likely give Atlanta trade value ranging from a mid-second-round selection to a high third-rounder—depending on where the teams ultimately select in the order—back for Pitts,” Knox writes.
Adding Pitts to go along with Adams and Nacua, as well as the run game led by Kyren Williams, would give the Rams potentially the best offense in the NFL in 2026.
