Carmichael’s journey with Collingwood began when he was drafted from West Adelaide in the SANFL during the 2022 AFL Mid-Season Draft. He made his AFL debut in Round 17 of the same year, quickly becoming a promising talent within the team. Over his tenure, he played eight senior games, including a notable appearance in the 2022 semi-final against Fremantle.
