Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles played their way to the franchise’s second Super Bowl title this past NFL season.

Hurts, the Super Bowl LIX MVP, is preparing for his sixth NFL campaign with the Eagles. And as the 2025 season quickly approaches, the 26-year-old quarterback shared the news of an exciting off-field project.

Hurts is releasing a children’s book titled “Better Than a Touchdown.”

Hurts, the book’s author, shared the news of this upcoming release with an announcement on social media.

“I am thrilled to announce my first children’s book, “BETTER THAN A TOUCHDOWN”!This has been a cherished dream of mine, and I hope it inspires young minds and readers of all ages to believe in themselves and never lose sight of their dreams.In stores March 10, 2026 and available for preorder today (link in bio),” he wrote on Instagram.

The Eagles responded to this announcement with a social media post of their own on Monday.

“A dream come true,” the team wrote on X.

“I’m very excited to share this moment with you guys,” Hurts said in his video announcement. “It’s always been a dream of mine to have my own children’s book, and I’m blessed to say that that dream is becoming a reality with ‘Better Than a Touchdown.’ It’s a lot of hard work, a lot of love put into this book. It’s very heartfelt because with the lessons learned, I wouldn’t be who I am today. I’m excited to extend those lessons to the next generation.”

Hurts and the Eagles will begin their 2025 regular-season campaign with a Week 1 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys on Sep. 4.
