The club have already approved a deal that will see the defender move on, with Belgian Pro League outfit KVC Westerlo emerging as his destination.
Reports suggest Nsiala is set to join Westerlo on a season-long loan that includes an option to buy, though that clause would not be mandatory.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri revealed on Sunday that the Frenchman has already travelled to Belgium and is preparing to complete his medical ahead of signing the paperwork on a deadline-day agreement.
Should Westerlo decide to activate the purchase option in the summer, Nsiala would remain in Belgium on a contract running until 2029.
Joe Rothwell also appears to be nearing the exit door after being heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox throughout the winter.
Rangers now look poised to offload the midfielder, with Rothwell closing in on a switch to Sheffield United in the English Championship.
According to reports on Monday, negotiations for the 31-year-old have gathered pace, and a medical has already been scheduled ahead of a proposed move to Bramall Lane.
Despite only arriving in Glasgow during the summer, Rothwell is expected to join the Blades, ending speculation that had linked him with several Championship sides.
If completed, he would feature under Chris Wilder for the remainder of the campaign.
On the incoming front, Rohl remains focused on reinforcing his attacking options and has been pushing hard to secure the signing of Ryan Naderi.
Talks with Hansa Rostock have not been straightforward, despite an agreement previously being in place for the 22-year-old to arrive in the summer.

Reports indicate the forward has arrived in Manchester ahead of travelling north to complete his move.
An improved offer has been submitted to Rostock, and Naderi is expected to undergo a medical at Ibrox as Rangers look to finalise a deadline-day deal rather than waiting until the off-season.
